MOR Snow Gardenia

MOR is an Australian luxury lifestyle brand known for its signature fragrance collections, blending richly illustrated packaging with premium fragrance, bodycare and candle products. The brand occupies the gifting and accessible luxury tier of the Australian beauty market, with a visual identity characterised by ornate illustration, warm colour palettes and a distinctly feminine sensory world. Snow Gardenia is among the brand's most refined expressions: white floral, clean and cool, with a packaging language that reflects the restraint of the scent rather than the brand's more decorative aesthetic.

+ PROJECT OVERVIEW

Led the transformation of MOR's Snow Gardenia retail collection into a premium hospitality experience, focusing on elevating brand presence in the luxury hotel sector. The strategic design approach centred on creating an immersive sensory journey through sophisticated packaging architecture and premium materiality.

The challenge is consistent across amenity work: a guest encounters the product in a moment of trust, not evaluation. The packaging must carry the brand's identity without the retail environment that normally contextualises it. Snow Gardenia's particular character, more restrained than MOR's illustrated signature collections, made it a strong candidate for the amenity context. The relative quiet of the scent's personality allowed the packaging to lead with texture and material rather than illustration.

+ WHAT WE DELIVERED

Engineered a comprehensive luxury hospitality design system featuring sophisticated structural packaging and premium finishing techniques that embodied the Snow Gardenia story. Developed master artworks and detailed production mechanicals including advanced material specifications, precise colour management standards and quality control parameters for global manufacturing. Created extensive technical documentation and brand implementation guides ensuring design integrity across international markets. Established a cohesive visual language through strategic touchpoint design, from product architecture to guest communications.

+ OUTCOME

Through innovative packaging architecture and premium design implementation, MOR was established as a leading amenity partner for luxury hotels including Kempinski and Emirates Palace. The sophisticated design system elevated guest touchpoints through strategic material selection and refined finishing techniques, transforming traditional amenities into immersive brand experiences. The work demonstrates that translating a retail brand identity into an amenity context requires more than adaptation. It requires understanding which elements of the brand's identity travel, and which depend on the retail environment to function.

+ MY DELIVERABLES

Led the complete design lifecycle from concept through global production. Created master artworks and structural packaging specifications with premium finishing techniques driven by the brand's storytelling. Developed technical documentation including production CADs, colour systems and quality controls. Established cohesive design touchpoints ensuring consistent brand language across guest experiences. Delivered via Hunter Amenities.
